Clitheroe town centre offers a bustling and vibrant high street shopping experience.

Visitors to Clitheroe enjoy a mix of traditional, specialist independent retailers, and instantly recognisable high street names.

The town is fortunate to have several long-established, family-owned and run businesses that give Clitheroe’s shopping experience its own unique look and feel.

Clitheroe’s main shopping street, Moor Lane, has some fabulous independent ladies’ men’s and children’s clothing outlets nestled amongst the homeware stores, bridal boutiques, craft shops, bookstores and high street chain stores.

Turning left from Moor Lane onto King Street shoppers will find lots more independent retailers as they wander down the hill towards the train station or turn left onto Market Street – as the name suggests, the location of Clitheroe’s wonderful traditional two-day (Thursday and Saturday) market.

Running parallel with Moor Lane is Lowergate, a hidden gem of a shopping experience with tucked-away independent retailers aplenty.
